The TFRL 2023 tournament, held on June 4th and 5th at the Royal College Sports Complex grounds, was a huge success, following the highly successful TFRL 2022 tournament.The tournament, which aims to be held 2-3 times a year, was officiated by Sri Lanka Rugby Federation referees and featured ten teams participating in two categories: under 28 and over 28 years of age.

The under 28 teams included “Worst Personalities,” “1994,” “SLTC,” “Colombo Chiefs,” and “Green Raptors.” The over 28 teams consisted of “Nobodies,” “GenX,” “Miracles,” “Royal Blues,” and “Puffins.” The champions of their respective categories were Colombo Chiefs and Puffins.

The TFRL tournament is an enjoyable and inclusive rugby league for individuals of varying skill levels. It provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, have a good time, and stay active.
